The COA offers a variety of activities and programs to engage both the mind and body. These offerings are usually free of charge to Acton seniors and most take place at the Senior Center. Some programs are open to out-of-towners; call the COA for clarification.

Please see the calendar for details about any of the programs, classes or trips offered each month. During the winter months there may be times when classes are cancelled due to inclement weather. Click here for our winter weather policy.

All of our programs, activities, classes and trips are detailed in our newsletter sent throughout the year to all Acton senior residents.
We have a playlist on Acton TV of our exercise instructors leading classes for you to follow at home in your own time, plus some of our lectures broadcast over zoom are also available to watch again.

* From February 24th, 2022 the Town of Acton has rescinded the mask mandate and people may choose to wear or not wear a mask when in our building and taking part in activities. We are returning to having activities which involve the participants not being able to socially distance, such as bridge, chess and mah jongg. It is personal choice as to whether you attend or not. Some of our programs remain on hiatus during this time and some of our programs will continue to be delivered over Zoom for the time being. Please call us for clarification. Programs are also liable to change at short notice. We apologize for any inconvenience if that is the case. We will keep the website updated as accurately as possible.
